The Australian Copyright Council is an independent, non-profit organisation. Founded in 1968, we represent the peak bodies for professional artists and content creators working in Australia’s creative industries and Australia’s major copyright collecting societies. They are advocates for the contribution of creators to Australia’s culture and economy; the importance of copyright for the common good. The Australian Copyright Council work to promote understanding of copyright law and its application, lobby for appropriate law reform and foster collaboration between content creators and consumers.

The Centre's core interest is in literature as a form of knowledge, and as an agent for the examination of social and cultural values. We provide a rigorous and active context for our researchers, honours and higher degree candidates.

Catalyst is the Australian Government's new funding program for the arts. It will invest $12 million each year in innovative projects and initiatives from arts and cultural organisations. Catalyst will assist organisations to forge new creative and financial partnerships and stimulate innovative ways to build participation by Australians in our cultural life. Projects by, or that involve, small to medium organisations will be given priority.

Drama Victoria

Media Resource Centre

The Media Resource Centre is a member of Screen Development Australia, a national network of organisations supporting the development of a strong, innovative and diverse screen industry in Australia. It provides entry-level to early-career film, video and digital media makers with access to equipment, subsidy programs and advice on all aspects of development and production. The related Mercury and Iris Cinemas provide local practitioners with the opportunity to screen their works.

SA Writers’ Centre

Screen Australia

Screen Australia is an Australian Government Agency that has brought together the functions of the Film Finance Corporation Australia (FFC), Film Australia Limited, and most of Australian Film Commission (AFC). It is a centralised funding body that aims to develop, produce, promote, distribute and provide access to diverse Australian programs, and support the development of the Australian screen production industry, so that Australian screen content is accessible nationally and internationally.

The Open Training and Education Network (OTEN) is a business unit of TAFE NSW – Western Sydney Institute, providing specialist distance and online education and training services.

Short Stories

The Tasmanian Writers' Centre (TWC) provides a range of services to members and the general public, including workshops, masterclasses, events and forums of interest to writers. The TWC also promotes books by Tasmanian writers via an annual broadsheet, Away With Words (see website). Twitch is the TWC's new online young writers' group.
