This full day adventure will have young writers - our cadets - aged between 10 and 17 unleashing their creative minds and writing up a storm. The idea of the program is to show the different avenues available to make a career out of writing and the arts, and to have fun while learning to work in a team.

Sign up for a KSP cadetship in the school holidays for a full day of writing fun at the KSP Writers' Centre Press Club. Meet writers your own age and develop your writing skills in a creative, safe and friendly setting. No special writing skills or experience are necessary, though people obsessed with writing will definitely be catered for. The event includes games and exercises, interview with a special guest author, personalised Press Pass on lanyard plus lunch and snacks. All work created will be published on the Press Club blog and select pieces will also be published in an end-of-year print anthology of youth work.
$65 non-members or $60 KSP-members, or $55 for residents in the Shire of Mundaring
