From 5 June to 30 June, Tor.com is opening to unsolicited/unagented submissions of speculative fiction novellas. Until the end of June, Tor.com will only be considering novellas of between 20,000 and 40,000 words that fit one of the following science fiction subgenres:

    – Time Travel
    – Space Opera
    – Near Future Thriller
    – Cyberpunk

If your subgenre of choice is not represented here, don’t worry. Tor.com plans to rotate what genres they solicit periodically, so check their submissions page regularly.

As always, the Tor.com editors actively request submissions from writers from underrepresented populations. This includes, but is not limited to, writers of any race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, class and physical or mental ability. We believe that good science fiction and fantasy reflects the incredible diversity and potential of the human species, and hope our catalog will reflect that.

You can find submission guidelines here.
