Hi Racers,

Yes, it's that time of the year again... time flies and tonight's Race is the last of Season 2. I've had a wonderful time moderating the Races this season and would like to thank all of the racers and the wonderful special guests who've joined me this season.

So for one the time this year, get your pens ready and get set to write!

Log in early on Tuesday 25th of October (around 7.45pm AEST for an 8pm start) and let us know what you'll be working on and what you hope to achieve during the race.

If you're new here, here's a brief rundown on the Writing Races procedure:

- Work on your own document offline - writing, editing, or researching - whatever you like! (feel free to share your favourite paragraph or two with us after the Race)
- Please use the Quick Reply feature below, so that we all stay in the same thread
- Refresh your screen regularly to see new comments and keep an eye out for new pages as the conversation gets longer
