Eek! I looked at the date on the forum and went "WAHHH wait a minute!"

In short I'm starting a new novel, so I don't really know how many I'm aiming for.

It's a novel about a private detective who is hired by a supreme being to pick his daughter up from school, pick up some groceries, and investigate why his former worshippers don't love him any more. It's kind of Arab Spring, except with an angry capricious god, a genie who works by the hour, and other nonsense. :P

wow, that sounds complicated Dave, LOL

I'm having trouble finding the right voice for my main character, have written it several different ways, but still not quite what I'm trying for.

Good luck with your words, guys! I am just checking in to offer enthusiasm tonight, coming to you via my phone from hotel room in Wagga. So write well!
