Wow, thanks Katherine! I completely zoned out! And I just realised my brain is completely fried.

Half time = 6:30pm, not 8:30pm!

I love that quote by Hawthorne, Katherine. It's so true! And not just for fiction writing, either. I'd say it applies to every kind of writing!

How's everyone going? What's your word count like?

Oh, that's still awesome!

Keep a good eye on your wordage, everyone. We've got some awesome prizes to give away! At the end of the race whoever has the most wordage will win a 12 month subscription to AWMonline--we'll also give subscription prizes to the two runners up!

Hope all you quiet people are furiously writing!

742 for me so far Chloe.

Not too bad considering I had to stop to put the dinner on about 15mins ago - my tummy's rumbling with all this hard work!

Back to it now though.

Hi everyone! I'm just logging on to say hi from QWC headquarters. We are kicking ARSE! The group here has a running total of 25,450 words at the hlaf-time break. How's it going in here in the forum? :)

Topics in the group tonight include: zombies, iron age fantasy, memoir and science fiction.

I wish I could be on more often by the wireless access is a bit dodgy tonight.

Write hard!

That's just cheating, Kate! There are only about seven of us here, compared to the twenty or so people at QWC!

Still, I concur. Write hard!

Alright, people, 7:15 by my clock! Pens down, hands on your head!

No, kidding about that last part.

Let me know how many words you got out, total, along with your email address so we can figure out who the winners are! And so we can add up our total as a team, just to see how far we got!
